Message from Pastor Tim Webster, Feb 5, 2010
Tim asked we share what the Lord has done. He is surrounded by family and is looking forward to being snowed in and spending that time grieving with them. Below is his Caring Bridge post from this morning.
The Creator God has called my dear wife and His precious child Lara home. She is singing, dancing, signing, and worshipping before His throne. We are grieving with a deep, deep sorrow like I have never known. Jesus knows our agony. He felt it in Gethesemane and I now know that part of what He felt that day was what I am feeling now. Isn’t that what Isaiah tells in Isaiah 53:4 “surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows.”
I’ll write more about our last moments together at a later time. And, of course, I’ll let you know about the worship service we plan of having for our God. He is worthy to be praised. The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
The Webster family just got one more HUGE reason to want to go home to heaven. We can’t wait to join her and Him.
We will post any arrangements/updates at this site, please check back. The church office will be closing early today, Feb 5th due to weather conditions.
